A former president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH), Pharm. Thomas Boateng Appiagyei, affectionately known as TBA, has admonished CPPA leadership to put in measures to standardize practice across the country.

Pharm. TBA was addressing CPPA members at the launch of the maiden Community Pharmacy Week Celebration in Accra on July 4th, 2023. The event was under the theme ““The Community Pharmacist, Your Most Trusted Healthcare Partner in the Community.”

Pharm TBA is of the view that “CPPA should take up a project that will seek to research and implement uniform standards and models in our pharmacies that will transform our practice in unison across the country so that we become a major force in the private sector where patients are confident and proud to seek healthcare first.”

“We may be competing for business as individuals, but we must be united in the care we provide and in the image we project of ourselves so as to win the trust and loyalty of clients within our localities” TBA added.
