As part of Strategic plan objectives for the year 2023, the PSGH leadership has committed to provide financial support to selected hospital pharmacy practitioners to receive specialized training at the Ghana College of Pharmacists.

This welcoming news was revealed by the President Samuel Know Donkoh when he paid a working visit to the Volta regional branch of the Society.

As part of his visit to the region, Pharm. Dr. Sam Donkoh visited the Directorate of Pharmacy at the Ho Teaching Hospital and had a meeting with the pharmacists at the hospital.  It was during his interaction with colleagues in the region that he made the exciting pronouncement.

The President further announced that GHOSPA leadership was putting together the criteria for accessing the support.

The President admonished pharmacists in hospital practice to avail themselves in community pharmacies where they register to superintend over pharmaceutical operations. He also encouraged them to make provisions for locums when they are unable to be present in these retail facilities.
