ADMISSION OF CANDIDATES INTO PROGRAMMES OF THE COLLEGE FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Pharmacists for admission into programmes of the Ghana College of Pharmacists for 2023/2024 academic year.
MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMME
GOAL OF THE PROGRAMME
The main goal of the course is to upgrade the knowledge and competence of candidates who register for the Membership and Fellowship programmes of the College, in relevant pharmaceutical and related sciences.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The minimum admission requirements are as follows:
- The candidate should have basic pharmacy qualification from a recognized institution.
- The candidate should have undertaken pharmacy internship training and successfully passed the Ghana Pharmacy Professional Qualifying Examination (GPPQE)
- The candidate must be a Registered Pharmacist who has practiced for a minimum of 3 years post –registration.
- For PharmD candidates a minimum of 2 years post registration is required.
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME
GOAL OF THE PROGRAMME
The goal of the programme is to hone the skills of candidates in their chosen areas of specialisation with extensive exposure and experience. On completion, candidates will be experts in their chosen fields.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR FELLOWSHIP CANDIDATES
The minimum admission requirements are as follows:
- The candidate should have undertaken pharmacy internship training and successfully passed the Ghana Pharmacy Professional Qualifying Examination (GPPQE)
- The candidate should have Membership or equivalent qualification from a recognized post graduate specialist pharmacy training institution.
- The candidate should have practiced for a minimum of one (1) year after obtaining Membership qualification.

- Faculty of Community and Family Practice Pharmacy
- Division of Pharmaceutical Production and Quality Assurance
- Faculty of Drug and Herbal Medicine Production
- Faculty of Quality Assurance
- Division of Social and Public Health Pharmacy
- Faculty of Social and Administrative Pharmacy
- Faculty of Public Health Pharmacy
