INTRO
The PSGH invites you to contribute to the 2024 AGM in Kumasi by submitting abstracts for consideration and inclusion in the programme for the AGM. The AGM provides a unique opportunity to disseminate your innovative research findings to a diverse audience of pharmaceutical industry leaders, policymakers, and colleague pharmacists.

Friday, 28th May 2024: Start submission of abstracts
Wednesday, 31st July 2024 (23:59 GMT): Submission deadline
Wednesday, 14th August 2024: Review outcomes communicated
Types of presentation
- Oral presentation
- Poster presentation
Abstracts can cover all study designs in pharmacy practice and the pharmaceutical sciences pertaining to Primary Health Care.
Accepted abstracts will be on display at the AGM in Kumasi, at the poster gallery, published in the AGM brochure and in the book of abstracts on the online Ghana Pharmaceutical Journal.

- Academic, Social and Administrative Pharmacy

- Industrial Pharmacy (Manufacturing, QA, QC etc)
- Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and pharmacovigilance
- Hospital pharmacy
- Public Health Pharmacy (Drug utilisation, Pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, health promotion, Pharmacovigilance etc)
- Universal Health Coverage, Health security & Health systems strengthening.
- Integrative medicine
- Pharmaceutical history and anthropology
Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Formulation sciences and drug development
- Pharmacognosy & herbal medicines
Submissions guidelines:
- All abstracts should be written in English and submitted in the form detailed in the provided abstract template here PSGH AGM 2024 ABSTRACT TEMPLATE
- Abstracts may reflect a similar body of research to that published or presented in any pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences-related journal/communication. They should however include novel aspects of work (i.e., findings, results, analyses, or interpretation).
- Abstracts may report original work that has not been published or accepted for publication as a journal article prior to abstract submission.
- All abstracts should be submitted via the designated online portal below, not later than July 30, 2024, by 23:59 GMT.
Authors may submit original full-length articles for possible publication in the Ghana Pharmaceutical Journal (GPJ). Manuscripts should be submitted online.
